Cleta's Story
Life
My husband, Doug and I met in 1964 and married in September of 1965. We have one son and three daughters, 15 grandchildren and four great-grandson, ten great-granddaughter and another one due in August. Seems like when they started they just don't know when to quit. Doug was disabled in 1999, so we sold our Heating and Air Conditioning business in Denver, and moved to western Kansas and retired. In 2003 my dad died, so I took my share of the inheritence and bought a house in a small town (9 homes and a Catholic Church) and we are remodeling it. We are spending a lot of our time

wn. I also do a lot of volunteer work at our church in a nearby town.
We took four weeks and drove from Kansas to the northwestern corner of Oregon and followed the coast down to just south of San Francisco then went to Tampa for a convention for one of my ladies groups and a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas after. August 10, 2006 our oldest grandson, Jordan, (16) was killed in a roll-over car accident. In 2012 I made a trip to City of Hope, Downey Ca. to donate bone marrow to my sister who had leukemia. She has been cancer free for 2 1/2 years now. If needed I will do it again. I am also on the donor list in case anyone else matches me.
